Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Qrillo service (qrillo.com, app.qrillo.com, demo.qrillo.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using Qrillo on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. The service

Qrillo provides a platform for creating and managing dynamic QR codes, digital bio pages, PDF links, company pages, employee pages, email signatures, and digital menus. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Account registration

  • Eligibility — You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
  • Account security — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@qrillo.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One account per person — Each account is for one individual or legal entity. You may not share accounts or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

4. Subscriptions & payments

  • Plans — Qrillo offers Free, Basic, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. Feature availability and usage limits are defined per plan. Limits (QR links, companies, employees) apply when payments are enabled.
  • Billing — Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis. EU VAT is added automatically where required by law.
  • Cancellation & refunds — You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.
  • Plan changes — Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle. If you downgrade below your current usage limits, some content may become inaccessible until you bring usage within the new limits.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Qrillo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service to distribute spam, phishing links, malware, or any content that is illegal, harmful, or deceptive.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or access the service via automated means without our written permission.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, contains explicit material, or violates the rights of third parties.
  • Use the service to circumvent usage limits or resell access without a written agreement.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Qrillo (bio information, PDFs, images, menu items, etc.). By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and deliver it as necessary to provide the service. We do not claim any ownership over your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Intellectual property

The Qrillo name, logo, software, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or proprietary code without prior written consent.

8. Availability & disclaimers

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We are not responsible for the content of public pages created by users or for how third parties interact with those pages.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qrillo and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Your content will be soft-deleted and permanently removed within 30 days, unless retention is required by law. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

13. Contact
